Townsend Press Reading Scholarship Recipients Score Big

Since 2007, Richmond Community College students in reading courses have had the opportunity to participate in the Townsend Press Reading Scholarship program. The program awards students cash for reading beyond classroom assignments and for answering quizzes on the content of selected books, many of which are classics. The goal is to foster a love of reading and improve students' reading and writing skills.
